The focus of this design is a space to find shelter while hiking through Saxon Switzerland, an area where famous romantic painters like Casper David Friedrich went to capture the beauty of nature. Today, city dwellers from all over come to Saxon Switzerland to experience the natural wonders of the mountains and the forest.. Based on this approach, the shelter combines a dichotomy concept like nature or the forest itself. In German, the word for resting derives from the word of silence. So this place of resting reminds you, due to its shape of your power, to listen. A forest creature which has their ears wide open invites you to rest and listen with them to the sounds of the forest.
